The gladdest moments, methinks, is a departure into unknown lands.

This is: Amsterdam
Amsterdam was the first stop on my European vacation 2019. The people were amazing and the architecture was beautiful. It was like every building had its own unique detail– a curve or a swirl to make it different from its crowded neighbors.

This is: London
Being a huge Harry Potter and Jane Austen fan, where else is there to go? London contained every one of the stereotypes I ever dreamed of: rain, accents, fish & chips, bridges, mushy peas, tea, the tube, and so many more.
I learned several things during my time in London. Everything is done on the left side. If you are walking, go to the left side of the sidewalk. When on an escalator, stand on the right, walk on the left. When going up stairs, go up the right, down the left. If you get this wrong, better grab on to something or move quick because in London, they DO. NOT. STOP. Imagine New York City but everything is backwards.

This is: Rome
We spent a few days in Rome, Italy. It was incredible for me to see the places where some of the events in the Bible took place along with other historical events.

This is: Florence
Florence is home to so many historical art pieces.
Here I have also included some pictures of the Vatican Museum.

This is: Dachau
This is the site of the Dachau concentration camp during WWII. This was a very sobering visit.

This is: Paris
After spending less than twenty-four hours in Paris, France, I can honestly say it was one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen.
My family planned only to pass through and see very few sites due to the hype surrounding this famous “city of love” being just overrated. Every site we saw added to the wonder and beauty of this historic and magnificent city.

This is: Brig
We only spend the night and a few hours the next day in Brig, Switzerland, but it was a gorgeous site. Surrounded by mountains, this small town had beautiful green scenery contrasted with the stone walkways and buildings of its city.
